
Diamond Software was founded in 1985 in New Orleans, Louisiana
with a staff of two. The company originally designed and developed custom software on IBM
mid-range computers. Since this humble beginning, the company has evolved and grown
to meet the growing software needs of the business community.
In 1993, Diamond Software was awarded an SBA Award for
Excellence. In 1994, Diamond Software began its relationship with Great Plains
software.
In 1998, Diamond Software opened its first branch
office. Lafayette, Louisiana was selected as the site for this new office to
serve the growing base of customers in central and northern Louisiana.
2000 was a banner year for Diamond Software as it achieved
all-time company highs in sales and customer service. The company also earned the Great
Plains President's Club Award for the fourth consecutive year. In addition, the company was selected as one of only 15 Great
Plains resellers out of approximately 700 nationwide for the Great Plains Small and Medium
Business Circle of Excellence for 2000. To cap off the outstanding year, Diamond
Software was selected the
Outstanding Partner In
The United States For Small And Medium Business for the year 2000.
